It's been a whole year since I took the reins at Happy Rebel and wow, has it been a year of change. Lessons have been learned, ideas have been percolating, and connections have been made to a new idea of what Happy Rebel can be. All while a global pandemic began. 

One of the main things I want to change at Happy Rebel is to turn the spotlight to our community. I want to hear about you, hear from you, and let others hear your voice and your story. The best part of being a Happy Rebel in life is that you're not doing it alone. You are part of a Happy Rebellion, breaking down labels and barriers, one person at a time. The hope with all of this, beyond lifting one another up, is creating connection. Realizing that we're all far more alike than different, even if we look or live differently. 

It's why we're creating more Happy Rebel branded gear, like our sun/skull icon sweatshirts and our Happy Rebel logo sweatshirts. My dream is that our Happy Rebel items will be like a signal to someone else that you get it, you both created your own box and broke out of the mold. You're both seeking more than what the world says you should have- you are badasses- with a smile.
